Amanda Joy Pearson

I began my career in the beauty industry in 2009. I attended the Aveda intitute for cosmetology right here in Seattle! After vigorous advanced training with the renowned Gary Manuel Salon and Aveda, I went back the Aveda Institute to persue another passion of mine: Education. I became a licensed educator in 2013, so I could share my love for learning with others. In 2017, I had the opportunity to start my own brand in the world of hair artistry and began working for myself as a stylist and educator. Still passionate about sustainable beauty, I chose to partner with Davines, a company that aims to make the world a better place with sustainable development goals and by using best practices in the beauty industry. I run an ‘Exclusively Davines' Salon out of my chair. Currently, you can find me at a little eclectic salon, Mercury, in Phinneywood. I am a highly skilled colorist and cutting technician, always working on honing my craft. Behind the chair, I aim to help educate my guests about their hair, help them find a style that fits their lifestyle and gives them confidence. I love working with all hair types, textures, ages, and genders. Don’t forget to check out the video link below!
